Victoria Moore: An Introduction

My name is Victoria Moore and I’ve been a professional Los Angeles-based fashion/feature writer for over 20 years now, with published work in Culver City News, Victoria magazine, Collectors’ Eye and other publications. Currently I’m embarking on the second half of my MA program in Fashion Journalism through Academy of Art University.

When I’m not doing coursework and writing, I support myself as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Leo Politi Elementary School (LAUSD). My interests and pastimes include collecting vintage clothing, tap dancing, watching classic movies and art. I’m also an avid reader and belong to two book clubs, the Mar Vista Library Mystery Book Club and the Fashion Book Lovers Group on http://www.goodreads.com.

In the future I’d like to continue writing about fashion and style in articles, books and for my blogs Every Day Style: Fashion for the Mainstream (https://www.victoriamoorecom587.wordpress.com), Lookin’ Good, Feelin’ Good (https://www.lookingoodfeelingoodblog.wordpress.com) and Stylish Musings and Inspirations (inspirations220601826.wordpress.com). My farther reaching plans include becoming a fashion writer and editor for a major fashion print or online publication, news or trade paper, an advocate for California fashion, a personal style and budget dressing workshop instructor and a curator at a major museum in their costume and textile department.
