Fashion Inspo: Intertextuality (“The ongoing dialogue between poems, stories and plays across time.”) The way this works as a fashion inspo is the creation of a dialogue between clothes across genres and also through time. In the case of the Tommy Hilfiger jacket and vintage Neiman-Marcus scarf, I chose to feature, this concept shows how two different pieces can work together despite where they come from. The jacket is from TJ Maxx and the scarf from a thrift store. By pairing the two together the colors and textures can be seen and expressed more dramatically.
